It's 2am on a Sunday morning, and I still haven't completely planned what to do on this trip due to the hustle and bustle of work, but I'm excited nevertheless. I've decided to take about 10 days and just head to Europe with the family - mostly because I'm always working on my Birthday and I thought it would be an amazing idea to spend it in Europe, or more specifically - Rome, Italy.

I last visited Rome 5 years ago on a whirlwind 36 day euro-tour with a good friend - and it instantly became one of my favorite cities in Europe. Then when I saw the opportunity, I grabbed it and instantly knew where I would want to be on my birthday. I also decided this would be a great time to treat myself a little - it's been a tough year, but sometimes you have to just reward yourself. I'll be updating this site as we go along, but to make it easier - I've given a snippet of trip's main itinerary to make it easier to follow along.

Actually, to get to Rome I've chosen a pretty inconvenient route all of which is transit (New Delhi to Abu Dhabi to London to Rome) when I could have easily just flown directly to Rome, instead of two stopovers. Why you may ask? Well, like I said i've decided to treat myself so I wanted to specifically fly certain planes and experience them for myself, but of course you'll understand as we go along. For now - I've got to deal with work and packing, so the updates will go along as they happen.

Until then, i'm extremely excited to see what the 10 days (starting 5th November) has in store for me. Only 4 days to go 🙂
